John S. Novak Dies At Age 69 John Stephen Novak, 69, of Hubbard died Thursday afternoon in his home. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Friday, November 14 in Eubanks Funeral Chapel in Hubbard. Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Burial followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Penelope. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. John (Francis) Novak; and five sisters, Mrs. Oscar (Annie) Andrle of Waco, Mrs. Francis Cepica of Hubbard, Mrs. August (Elsie) Vrba of Tours, Mrs. Frank (Christine) Klanika of Leroy and Mrs. Ike (Margarette) Pratka of Penelope.
