Jefferson City News-Tribune (MO) - Wednesday, July 24, 2002: Alma Phillips, 86, Camdenton, died July 22, 2002, at Osage Beach Health Care Center. She was born June 16, 1916, in Bonnots Mill, a daughter of Gustave and Laura Perriguey Perry. She was married Sept. 4, 1937, to Henry Phillips, who died Feb. 28, 1981. She was a homemaker. Survivors include: four sons, Daniel Phillips, Centertown, David Phillips, Russellville, Steve Phillips, Camdenton, and Ronnie Phillips, Halls, Tenn.; six daughters, Carolyn Smith, Centertown, Laura Ann Welch, Beverly Krummen and Elaine Kimbrough, all of Jefferson City, Pauline Cassmeyer, Lakeland, Fla., and Kathy Garner, Camdenton; one sister, Hilda Thoenen, St. Louis; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Three grandchildren preceded her in death. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton. The Rev. Dennis North will officiate. Burial will be in New Home Cemetery, Camdenton. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday.
