Ted died at the age of 82. The self-employed rice farmer was born in Taiton to Charles P. and Bertha Hoffman Hajovsky. He was a 1940 graduate of El Campo High School. He was a member of St. Philip Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council 2490 for more than 60 years, the KJT Society, American Legion Post 251, was a past commander of VFW Post 2786, was a life member of the Elks Lodge and was commissioned a Kentucky Colonel by Kentucky Gov. John Brown Jr. He also served in the Intelligence Corps of the U.S. Army during World War II. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Earline Supak Hajovsky; 3 daughters and 1 son, 2 sisters, 1 brother, 5 grandchildren, one step-grandchild and two great-grandchildren. Burial followed at St. John's Cemetery in Taiton with military honors under the auspices of American Legion Post 251. ∼ PFC US Army World War 2
