Bio
Geraldine "Gerry" Mussey, age 76, formally of Austin, passed away peacefully Monday, July 7, 2008. She was preceded in death by husband James "Jim" Mussey. Gerry was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy was loving and being loved by her family. Although no longer with us, she will continue to live in our memories. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with Wake Services following at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. Mass of Celebration will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 10, 2008 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 4600 E. Ben White Blvd. with Monsignor Fred Bomar, Celebrant. Interment and Committal services will follow at Cook-Walden/Memorial Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Gerry to Hope Hospice, 611 N. Walnut Avenue, New Braunfels, Texas 78130. Austin-American Statesman July 9, 2008
