Bio

Mattie Helen Berry Turner, 54, an office manager, died of a brain hemorrhage Sunday, February 5, 1995, at St. Dominic/Jackson Memorial Medical Center. Services were held at Lakewood Memorial Park Funeral Home in Jackson with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park. Mrs. Turner was born in Simpson County, Mississippi to Franklin Ellis and Willie Lee Turnage Berry. She was a member of Oak Dale Baptist Church, and was a member and past president of the Botanical Garden Club. Survivors include; husband, James Kelly Turner; daughter, Angela Allen Miller of Madison; son, Kelvin Turner of Starkville; mother, Willie Lee Berry; two sisters, Mary Frances Walley and Dorothy Ann McNair; two brothers, Ellis Marshall Berry and Robert Kelly Berry; and a grandchild.
