Bio

Donald D. Tajchman, 61, Great Bend, died Sept. 26, 2008. Born July 8, 1947, at Hillsboro, he was the son of Peter and Adeline (Roh) Tajchman. On Oct. 14, 1972, he married Pauline Demel at Great Bend. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Leonard and Francis; and one sister, Margaret Rueschhoff. Survivors include his wife, Pauline of Great Bend; three brothers, Clarence of Abilene, Texas, Robert of Firestone, Colo., and Patrick of Marion; and sister, Patricia White of Fruitland Park, Fla. Funeral services were Tuesday morning at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Great Bend. Burial was in Pilsen Cemetery. Memorial funds have been established with Father Kapaun Guild or Prince of Peace Parish.
