Eliza Toombs Cooper was the the wife of William McAdams Cooper,Eliza is the daughter of Garner McConnico Toombs and Cathrine Smith. William McAdams Cooper, her 1st husband, was the son of Robert Melville and Catherine Catherine Cooper who are buried in McClain Cemetery. Mary Melvina Cooper Kilpatrick Whitwell was the d/o Wm. McAdams and Eliza Toombs Cooper. Amelia Velina Elizabeth "Betty" Kilpatrick was the dau. of Mary Melvina Cooper and ____Kilpatrick when he died she married Judge Whitwell. John Turley McClain married Allie Mai Kennedy (also a decendant of the Cooper family (Teressa Patton Cooper) Their son Robert Matthew McClain is my father. Mary Bob McClain Richardson --------------- 2nd married "Judge" Graham, a county clerk, and is buried in an unmarkded grave at McClain Cemetery, at the end of the row of Cooper graves and next to Mrs. Melvina Whitwell.
