Bio

Services for Donald Tucker, 91, of Lubbock will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Monterey Church of Christ with John McCoy and Bob Reynolds, Church of Christ ministers, officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home. He died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2000, at Covenant Medical Center. He was born Aug. 31, 1908, in Wise County. He married Ila Mae McCutcheon on Dec. 21, 1935, in Lubbock. She died Aug. 20, 1998. He was a farmer in the Meadow area for nearly 50 years and moved to Lubbock in 1990. He was a member of Monterey Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter. Survivors include four sons, Wendell and Stanley, both of Lubbock, Fred of Waleska, Ga., and Larry of Arkadelphia, Ark.; a daughter, Barbara Huguley of Lubbock; two brothers, Claude of Hot Springs, Ark., and Winfred of Meadow; 17 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
