obit from online at Johnson County Graphic dated June 8, 2005: Myrtle E. Ruppert, 92, of Clarksville died Monday, May 30, 2005, in Paris Hospital. She was a native of Austin, Texas, a daughter of the late John N. and Theresa Stasney Sefcik, widow of E. L. (Red) Ruppert, graduate of Clarksville High School, attended the University of the Ozarks, and member of Second Baptist Church, Clarksville Chapter No. 172 Order of the Eastern Star and the Senior Citizens Club. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Theresa and J. C. Douglas of Clarksville; one son, Rick Ward of Clarksville; five grandchildren, Denise Rogodzinski of Poteau, Okla., Debbie Franklin, Mark Douglas, and Christina Cowell, all of Clarksville, and Kent Douglas of Maumelle; and 11 great-grandchildren, Khamree and Kyerra Cowell, Jessica Gill, Marci Wyche, Stacia Shivley, Kate Douglas, Lindsay Douglas, Connar Douglas, Luke Douglas, Dylan Douglas, and Holly Breedlove. Graveside services and burial were at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 2, at Oakland Cemetery with Rev. Richard Rogers officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
