Oiler on the SS Puerto Rican that was sunk by a German U-Boat [U586] on 09/03/1943 about 100 miles NE of Iceland - Part of Convoy RA53 returning from Russia. The outward-bound Journey was on Convoy JW51.B which was the convoy in the famous Battle of the Barents Sea.
