Bio

John was an ordained Free Will Baptist minister. In Oklahoma during the 1920's through 1950's Rev. Bean was known as an outstanding evangelist. He wrote "What Would the World Be Without the Bible." He authored a number of poems based on Bible subjects, and was a natural elocutionist, he often recited from memory upon request, to the enjoyment of his hearers. His age and health did not permit him to be as actively engaged as in his former years.
