Bio
Leila Guidinger, the daughter of George Franklin and Sarah Leila Hall Cheese, was born July 12, 1903 in Lenox, Iowa. She died at the Cottage Hospital in Galesburg, Illinois Monday September 28 at the age of seventy-eight years, two months and sixteen days. Leila was united in marriage to George W Guidinger. She was a graduate of Drake University in Des Moines and had completed graduate work at the University of Colorado. Mrs Guidinger was a retired teacher having taught in Galesburg as well as in Iowa and New York. Leila was a member of the Galesburg United Methodist Church, the Wesleyan Circle PEO Sisterhood in Evanston, Illinois, the Republican Women's Group, the Grandmother's Club Retired Teachers Association and the Omega Sorority of Drake University.
