11-15-1954 The Hutchinson News-Herald Mrs. Barbara Bontrager Mrs. Barbara Bontrager, 84, died at her home, RFD 1, at 11:40 p.m. Saturday. She had been ill for six weeks. Mrs. Bontrager was born in Grange county, Ind., on Nov. 27, 1869, and had been a resident of Reno county for 21 years. Surviving are three sons, Dan, La Grange, Ind., and John and Abe, Fairbanks, Ia.; eight daughters, Mrs. Mary Nisely, Mrs. Lizzy Nisley, Mrs. Fannie Helums, Mrs. Anna Mast, Kate Bontrager and Mrs. Susan Yutzy, all of RFD 1, Mrs. Barbara Troyer, Plain City, Ia., and Mrs. Delila Mullet, Mt. Gilead, Ohio; three brothers, Abe Yoder, La Grange; Tobias Yoder, Goshen, Ind., and Peter Yoder, Surrey, N.D., 72 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.
