Bio

Thelma Perkins February 23, 1982 Mrs. Max (Thelma)Perkins, 64 of 931 Jefferson, died at 9:30 p.m. Monday at the Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. She was born November 18, 1917 in Mount Vernon, Texas to Claude and Minnie Clark Hallmark. She married Max Perkins in 1933 in Hugo, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 1972. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and worked as a clerk at Burgin's Washateria. Survivors include a son Steve Perkins of Fort Worth; one grandson, two sisters, Mrs. Rubie Northcutt of Waco and Mrs. Fanelle Johnson of Mount Pleasant. Graveside services were held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Restlawn Memorial Park with Dr. Charles Redmond officiating. Pallbearers were S. H. Burgin, Ernest Watson, Butch Northcutt, Warren Brewer and Gene Watson. The family received friends and family from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Tapp Funeral Home.
