From familysearch.org: Inez Andrus Tracy, 47, former Rigby teacher, died Sunday in Portland, Oregon, following a major operation. She was the daughter of Robert and Lovenia Bowden Andrus of Ucon. She was born September 18, 1917 in Ucon where she received her elementary and secondary education. She was a graduate of Ricks College and received training at Utah State University in Logan and Brigham Young University in Provo. She was an instructor in the Rigby Elementary Schools for six years and in the Portland, Oregon, schools until the time of her death. She was an active member of the LDS Church. She married H. Clair Tracy in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, March 20, 1945. Following their marriage they resided in Provo while her husband attended BYU, then moved to Portland where they have lived for the past 16 years. She was active in church and civic music activities, directing ward, Stake and youth choirs. While living in this area she sang up and down the valley. She is survived by her husband of Portland; sons and daughters, Inez Lynnette, a student at BYU; Yvonne Elyse, Robert Harold Tracy, and Howard Gregory Tracy, all of Portland; brothers and sisters, R. Howard Andrus, Ucon; Mrs. Edward (Beulah) Butler, Idaho Falls; Mrs. Lynn S. (Vera) Barker, Shelley. She was preceded in death by a son, two sisters, a brother, and her parents. Funeral services will be conducted in Portland on Wednesday and in the Ucon LDS Chapel Friday. Interment will be in the Ucon Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
