Elbert Hillard Carson was born Sept 3 1854 in Mississippi and died March 1 1941 in Longview Texas. Married first wife, Mary Jane Pressley, who was born Mar 25, 1864 in Mississippi and died 28 June 1892 in Texas. They had 7 children. After her death he married Louisa Hayes Stokes on 6 April 1893 in Polk County, Texas. She was born June 1853 in Alabama and died 13 Oct 1907 in Moscow, Polk, Texas. His third wife was Malissie Indiana Adeline Purswell Ott. They married 11 Sept 1913 in Livingston Polk, Texas. She was born 7 Feb 1876 in Texas and died 10 May 1962 in Cleveland, Liberty, Texas. They had one son, Simon Elbert Carson.
