WINN Vivian and Carolyn Death Article 1954 Source: San Diego Union (San Diego, San Diego, CA); Published: Monday, October 4, 1954; Page: 1 Mother, Child Perish As Fire Razes Home UNION CITY, Mich., Oct. 3 (AP) – A young mother and her baby died today in a fire that destroyed their home. Lightning was blamed for the fire. Mrs. Vivian Winn 20, and baby, Carolyn, 2, perished in an upstairs bedroom. Flames prevented the husband and father from rescuing them.
