John B. "Buster" Warren Services for John B. "Buster" Warren, 91, Terrell, formerly of Myrtle Springs, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 10, at Eubank Funeral Home Chapel, Canton, with Rev. Bill Coffey officiating. Burial was in Haven of Memories Memorial Park. Mr. Warren died August 8, 1999. He was born December 23, 1907, in Mount Peak to the late John E. and Annie Bates Warren. He lived most of his life in the Dallas area, but was a resident of Myrtle Springs for a few years. He was a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge at Midlothian. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II. He was a machinist in bedding manufacturing. Survivors include his wife, Opal Warren, Terrell; sons, Russell Moon, Terrell, and Douglas Moon, Duncanville; daughter, Shirley Bartlett, Terrell; sisters, Esther McCaffity, Wills Point, Willa Mae Cookston, Van and Alpha Cornelius, Royse City; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were John Russell Moon, Fred Combs, Shawn Moon, Ray Gonzales and Eric Moon. The Canton Herald, Thursday, August 12, 1999, page 10A
