Sharon A. Hanks, 54, of Great Bend, died May 29 at Great Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, Great Bend. Born Jan. 23, 1955, at Great Bend, she was the daughter of Edwin and Ruth Dafft Hanks. She was a former laundry worker for Cherry Village Nursing Home, Great Bend. She was a lifetime resident of Great Bend. She was of the Southern Baptist faith. Survivors include her partner, Angie Ebeling, Great Bend; a son, Ryan Andrasek, Manhattan; a brother, David Hanks, Olathe; a sister, Brenda Urban, Dodge City; a niece, Amy Lindal, Dodge City; and a nephew, Eric Urban, Geneva, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bryant Funeral Home, Great Bend, with the Rev. Gary Brooks officiant. Interment will be at Great Bend Cemetery North. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. to service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Great Bend (Kan.) Tribune, May 31, 2009
