Bio

Leonard was man of many accomplishments. Working with the Grand Island Area Chamber of Commerce, he helped develop Husker Harvest Days, one of the largest farm shows in the United States located near Grand Island, Nebraska. He was retired chairman of Fleischer Manufacturing Company. He received many awards resulting from his enterprising business abilities and valued civic leadership. He was survived by his wife, Arlene; three sons, Len, Matthew and William, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth.
