She was married to L. Jackson Robinson (1854-1942) Funeral services were held Monday in the Joseph Ward Chapel for Mrs. Mary Francis Robinson, 77, wife of J.W. Robinson of Joseph, who died Thursday at Joseph of illness incident to age. Ariel F. Parker conducted the services. Speakers were Bishop Philip R. Shipp, J. Elbert Parker, and Alma S. Edwards. The choir sang "O My Father", "Sister Thou Art Mild and Lovely," and "Shall We Meet Beyond the River." Mrs. Philip R. Shipp sang "Going Home". E.L. Jackmon dedicated the grave, interment being in the Joseph Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ralph Nelson, John Hicks, Sidney Robinson, Wilburn Robinson, Iril Colby and Dick Bawling. Born in Tennessee in May, 1862, Mrs. Robinson was the first LDS convert in the county in which she resided in Tennessee. She came with her husband to Utah in 1905. She and Mr. Robinson observed their sixty-second wedding anniversary last July. Surviving Mrs. Robinson are her husband; four sons, Allen Robinson of Tennessee, John Robinson of Ogden, Joel Robinson of California and George Robinson of Monroe; five sisters, Mrs. Martha Colby, and Mrs. Sarah Zufelt of Sigurd, Mrs. Bell Larsen of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Emma Johnson of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Archie Hicks of Joseph; 64 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.
