E.T. Pugh Graveside services for E.T. "Cowboy" Pugh, 70, of Troup, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, May 31, 2009, at Larissa Cemetery near Mount Selman with the Rev. Kenn Somerville officiating under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home, Tyler. Mr. Pugh died on May 28, 2009, in Jacksonville. Mr. Pugh was born on July 4, 1938, in Tyler to the late Elbert L. and Eller Riley Pugh. He served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Pugh loved his horse Pepper and enjoyed leather work. He was a retired welder. He was preceded in death by his son E.T. "Scooter" Pugh. He is survived by his wife of 34 years Alice Pugh of Troup; sons, Douglas Ray Pugh of Troup and Raymond Harper and wife Ana of Waco; daughter Julie Willard and husband Steve of Corpus Christi; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers will be Patrick Willard, Hayes Harper, Raymond Harper, Douglas Pugh, Steve Willard, Mike Williams and Dusty Willard.
