Harry Andrew Lawson, 92, of Gower, passed away, Friday, April 19, 2002 at his home. He was born on Feb 4 1910 to Harrison Morton and Josephine (Nabity) Lawson in Dunning NE. On December 19, 1931, he was united in marriage to Inez Snowden. After their marriage they lived in Aurora and later moved to Birmingham. In 1951 they moved to the Mecca Community, rural Trimble and 1979 they moved to rural Gower. His wife, Izez, passed away, August 18, 1998. They farmed in the Gower and Trimble areas. Harry also worked for North American Aviation, Lend-Lease Projects, Smithville Engineering, and American Can Company, all in Kansas City and Clinton Co Highway Department. Harry was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Plattsburg and the International Association of Machinists Lodge 92 in KC. He was also preceded in death by his parents; son, Harvey Lawson; great-grandson, Timothy Lawson; brother, Clarence Lawson; and 3 sisters, Anna Lawson, Francis Nash, and Loretta Decker. Survivors include son John Lawson; daughters, Wealtha Marshal and Donna King; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Lawson; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral: Apr 22 at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower; burial: Green Lawn Cemetery, Plattsburg
