Bio

Barbara Kosmicki, 77, of Cozad died Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at Cozad Community Hospital. Services were held Saturday at Christ the King Catholic Church in Cozad with the Rev. Don O'Brien officiating. Graveside services was on Monday at Fort McPherson National Cemetery in Maxwell. She was born Nov. 16, 1931, at Burwell to John and Sophie (Swanek) Kochanowski. On Nov. 25, 1952, she married Alvin "Al" Kosmicki in Burwell. He died in 1999. Survivors include her son, Don of Holdrege; daughter, Judy Robbins of Rogue River, Ore.; sisters, Ella Mae Gilster of Filer, Idaho, and Roseann Goodman of Broken Bow; and four grandchildren.
