Kathleen Troutt Arrangements By: Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Honey Grove May 28, 2009 Kathleen Troutt, 76 of Rockwall, Texas and former longtime resident of Honey Grove passed away Wednesday evening, May 27, 2009 at Baylor Medical Center in Garland, TX. Services will be 2:00P.M. Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Chapel in Honey Grove. Rev. Terry Cunningham and Mr. Emery Banker will officiate. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will be Emery Banker, Jeff Clark, B.J. Stallings, Jerry Francis, Walter Don Brown and Murray Jackson. Honorary pallbearers, Dr. Harold D. Witcher and Charles Yarbrough.. Kathy was born Oct. 10, 1932 in Peniel, TX. in Hunt County to parents C.P. Holmes and Ruth Taggart Holmes. She married Willie Lewis Troutt Aug. 23, 1959 at Greenville, TX. He preceded her in death Oct. 8, 1982. Kathy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Honey Grove, Tx.. She possessed a Bachelor's Degree in education and she influenced many young lives while teaching at Honey Grove Independent School District. She retired May of 1998 after 36 years in the teaching profession. She is survived by her loving family, Son and Daughter-in-Law, Mike & Traci Brown Troutt of Honey Grove, Daughter, Teresa Wilhelms of Garland, TX. 3-Grandchildren, Stephanie Francis and Husband, Jerry of Garland, TX., Kristi Gladden and Husband, Jason of Mesquite, TX., Michael Troutt of Honey Grove and 1-Great-Grandson, Conner Francis of Garland., Brother, Clyde Gayle Holmes and Wife, Betty of Sachse,TX. The family will receive friends 7:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. Friday, May 29, 2009 at the funeral home in Honey Grove.
