The Van Zandt News 17 Sept 2000. Services for Paul Junior Brewer, 75, Mabank, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, at Eubank Funeral Home Chapel, Canton, with Bro. David McCain officiating. Burial was in Haven of Memories Memorial Park, Canton. Mr. Brewer died Sept. 10, 2000, in Arlington. He was born June 5, 1925, in the Phalba Community, where he attended school. He worked at LTV while living in Arlington. In 1978, he moved to Canton for 10 yers before returning to Arlington. He had lived in Mabank for the last three years. He was a member of Mabank Church of Christ and Arlington Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Jean Brewer, Mabank; son and daughter-in-law, Paul Allen and Claudine Brewer, Burleson; daughter, Dianna Gail Bissett, Arlington; brothers, Lonnie Brewer and M. L. Brewer, both of Canton, Dawson Brewer, Mabank, and Finis Brewer, Tyler; sister Hazle Bryce, Arlington; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Pallbearers included Jerry Brewer, Foy Don Brewer, Danny Brewer, Glenn Brewer, Frank Sharp, Jeff McCain and Aubrey Simmons.
