Son of Jacob C Brimer. Taken from his death certificate. According to the 1880 census, James' mother was Priscilia (spelled as it is on census). His father, Jacob, married Prissy Reneau in Jefferson Co, Tenn on Aug 13, 1873. This was taken from Tenn State Marriages collection.
