F. C. GATHRIGHT The Rev. Franklin Carr Gathright, 79, died Wednesday, March 18, in the Hillcrest hospital in Oklahoma City. He was born February 20, 1891, near Nashville, Ark. He was ordained as a Baptist minister at Antioch Baptist church near Nashville on March 11, 1934. He is survived by his wife, the former Minnie Copeland; four sons, Carl, Jr., Dewey, Gordon and Edwin, all of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Mrs. Fay Sanders of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Meryman and Gorgie Gathright, both of Nashville; one sister, Mrs. R.F. Hooker of Ashdown, Ark.; thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandson. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 20, in the Central Baptist church of Idabel, with a second service at 2:30 p.m. on the same date at Antioch Baptist church of Nashville. Both services were conducted by the Rev. Bill Merritt and the Rev. James Hoover, with the Rev.
