Bio
Allie was born in Lavaca County, TX to Francis Robert "Frank" Holster and Sarah Boatwright. She was the eldest of 10 children. Her brothers and sisters were: Emmett Peter, William H., Mary Anna, Jefferson Thomas, Jesse James, Mary Abby, Francis Marion, Thomas M., and Dorian D. Holster. Frank Holster moved to Coryell County, TX with several of his children between 1900 and 1910. He lived the rest of his life in Coryell County until his death in 1929. Allie marred John Bennard Karl on August 16, 1897 in Lavaca County, TX. They had three children: Alfred Raymond, Mary Ila, John Bennard Karl, Jr., who were all born in Coryell County, TX. Allie was a devoted wife and mother and was loved by all who knew her. After Ben's death in 1952, Allie spent the last fourteen years of her life living in California with her daughter, Mary Ila.
