PEARSON (Created: Friday, May 15, 2009 4:09 PM CDT) http://www.baldwincountynow.com Gulf Coast Newspapers, Baldwin County, Alabama Yvonne M. Pearson, 87, a native and resident of Robertsdale, died Friday, May 15, 2009. She was a member of Robertsdale First Baptist Church, Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star and a Grand Representative of the State of Nebraska. She was a committed Board member aiding in the construction of the new Robertsdale Public Library. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald A. Pearson. Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Salac of Robertsdale and Sandra Hutson of Monroe, La.; two sisters, Lois Brannan and Shirley Hart, both of Mobile; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation begins at 1 p.m. with funeral services at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 16 at Robertsdale First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeff Copeland and the Rev. Richard Hebert officiating. Burial will follow at Silverhill Cemetery. The family requests memorial donations be made to Robertsdale First Baptist Church, 18200 Highway 104 W., Robertsdale, AL 36567.
