Beverly Walker A long time resident of Duncanville, went home to be with her Lord Nov. 12, 2007. She was born October 25, 1939 in Dallas. Beverly was a housewife who was very active in her community and church and was loved by all who knew her. She was deeply devoted to serving and loving the Lord and caring for others. Beverly is survived by her loving children, Dennis Walker Jr. of Ennis, Cheryl Teague & husband Walter of Duncanville, Mark Walker & wife Bonnie of Mansfield; brothers, Spurgeon Sturdevant & wife Joyce of Wills Point, Jerry Sturdevant & wife Rose of Rowlett; 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and loving friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Walker Sr.; sisters, Helen Mason, & Edwina Belosi; brothers, Eddie Sturdevant, & Owen Sturdevant Jr. Services are 11:00 am Friday, Nov. 16 at Jaynes Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas.
