FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 1961 - State Line Tribune SERVICES TODAY FOR MR. STEWART Stanley (Heavy) Stewart, long time resident of this area passed away Wednesday morning at his home in Dumas following a heart attack. Mr. Stewart who was 68 years old, lived in Texico for many years before moving to Dumas last year where he worked on the Sneed Ranch. Services were conducted at 2:00 today in the Texico First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Dixie; one son, Beale; and a daughter, LaDonna. Four brothers, Virgil, Norwalk, Calif.; Jim, Comanche; Gilliam, Big Spring; and Fisher, Las Vegas; and two sisters, Mrs. C. E. Hillis, Sidney; and Mrs. Bertha Selman, Clovis; also survive.
