Bio
Services for Nola Christian, 84, of Lubbock will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke's United Methodist Church with the Revs. Elton Wyatt and Johnnie Williams, officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home. She died Wednesday, March 22, 2000, at Covenant Medical Center. She was born on Feb. 22, 1916, in Ladonia and moved to Lubbock in 1927. She married J.B. "Jack" Christian in Lubbock, on Jan. 9, 1935. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church, the Leo Gee Sunday School Class and LLL Club. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Lynn Christian. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Ronnie Christian of Stanton, Jerry Christian of Lubbock; a sister, Faye James of Lubbock; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
