Father: Frank Hajovsky Mother: Rosa Zaskoda Husband: Alphonse Francis Vogel Marriage: July 4, 1941 St Philip's Catholic Church, El Campo, Texas JULIA ANN HAJOVSKY VOGEL passed away on March 12, 2005 in Houston at the age of 90. She was born on March 31, 1914 in El Campo, Texas to Frank and Rosa Zaskoda Hajovsky. She married Alphonse Francis Vogel in El Campo on July 4, 1941. She was predeceased by her son Wayne Edward Vogel, her parents Frank and Rosa, and her siblings, Julius, Lucille, Robert, Louis, and Antonia. Julia and Alphonse lived in Houston after their marriage and were members of Christ the King parish, Holy Name parish, and All Saints parish. Julia worked for a number of years at the old Rice Hotel and at St. Joseph's Hospital. She also was a volunteer with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, with the St. Vincent de Paul Society at All Saints, and with the All Saints Altar Society. Julia is survived by her husband of 63 years, Alphonse Vogel, her son Allan Richard Vogel, her daughter Gloria Ann Vogel Petzold, and her son Gerard Neal Vogel and his wife San Juana Aguillera Vogel. Other survivors are her granddaughters Keri Nicole Petzold and Rowan Sharp, her grandson Gerard Alphonse Vogel, and her great grandsons Jacob and Logan Molina. Services will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at All Saints Catholic Church at 10th and Harvard in the Heights. Interment will follow at 3:00 pm at St. Andrew's Cemetery in Hillje, Texas.
