Bio

RAHN, RICHARD W. A resident of Amite, he died at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, July 17,1996, at Hood Memorial Hospital, Amite. He was 77, a native of Ontario, Canada, and a U.S. Merchant Marine veteran of World War II. Visiting at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, 8 a.m. Friday until religious services at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Tommy Hicks. Interment in Amite Memorial Gardens, Amite. Survived by wife, Aline Rahn, Amite; two sons, Walter Rahn, Loranger, and Rolfe Rahn, Amite; a sister, Ann Zimmerman (sic), Milwaukee; a brother, Bob Rahn, Milwaukee; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by two daughters, Linda Rahn and Stephanie Rahn; and a son, Richard Rahn. The Baton Rouge (LA) Advocate, July 18, 1996, p 6-B
