Paris news Funeral services for Mary Mart Guest of Detroit will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept 23, at Martin Memorial United Methodist Church in Detroit with the Rev. Jeff Davis officiating. Burial will be in Detroit Cemetery by Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home. The body will be at lie at the church from 2 p.m. until the service hour. Mrs Guest, widow of John guest, died at her home. She was born May 30, 1905, in the Liberty community of Red River County, a daughter of Charlie Mart Guest and Mary Humphries Guest. she attended Liberty schools and married John Guest on September 26, 1923. they lived at Guest Prarie in the Liberty community until his death in 1965. she had lived in Detroit since 1974 . She was a member of the Martin Memorial United Methodist Church and the Ella Easley Sunday School Class. Survivors are a son. Russell Guest of Detroit, three grandsons, Mackey, Jimmy and Burton Guest, all of Detroit, two great grandsons and a sister Mrs Ommie Parks of Detroit.
