************************* On the 1850 census she is refered to as Eliza. On the 1860, as Disey C, 1870 Eliza, 1880 D.C., and of course, Diza Caroline on her headstone. When she was young her grandmother Elizabeth lived with her, and she named her own daughter Elizabeth. On April 15, 1863 Diza Caroline Boone married Hiram Carroll Brinlee in Collin County, Texas. They were the parents of James Edward, Elizabeth Ann, Laura Lee, John Ewin, William Leon, Ambert Hatler, Louis Boone and Geneva Helen. Diza was the great-granddaughter of the famous explorer Colonel Daniel Boone. *research by Lila Cole *************************
