Mary Elizabeth Lazenby was born 22 July 1868 in Walker County, Georgia, USA, the daughter of John Knox Lazenby (1820-1878) and Manerva E. Stiff (1838-1878). Siblings: Arthur Leet Lazenby (1854-1930), Julia Emma Lazenby (1856-1928), Minnie Alice Lazenby (1861-1900) and William E. Lazenby (1864-?). She was married to Henry James Meyers (1866-1904) on 2 June 1890 in Cassandra, Walker, Georgia. Children: Myrtle Ila [Meyers] Coulter (1891-1966), Cecil James Meyers (1893-1945) and Frank Henry Meyers (1897-1932). Mary passed away on 27 November 1943 in Walker County, Georgia and was laid to rest in the Coulter Memorial Cemetery in Cassandra, Walker, Georgia.
