Bio

N. J. was the son of Daniel & Mary A. Barnes Blew. He married Dorthea Masey 28 Oct 1858 in Cannon Co., TN.. They had three known children: Florence, Elizabeth & Harriet Blew. He served in the Civil War as a Private in Company A, 3rd Consolidated Regiment, Tennessee Infantry, Confederate Army.
