Elva McKay, 93, of Cove, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2009 in Tyler. She was born in Cedar Bayou on May 5, 1915 to her late parents, Ira Williams and Viva Maley Williams, lived in Cove all of her life and was a member of the Cove Church of Christ. Mrs. McKay was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arnold McKay; son, Freddie Stayton; daughter, Janice Stayton and one great-granddaughter. Survivors include her daughters, Hope Johnson and her husband Jimmy of Cove, Delois Bishop and her husband Michael of Tyler and Anita Foy of Tyler; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
