Bio
Clara, of Beaumont, passed away at Calder Woods Retirement Center. A native of Hamshire and a lifelong resident of the Beaumont area, she was a member of several organizations, including the China Painting Club of Beaumont, The Rose Society, The Daughters of The Republic of Texas and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Her husband, Richard Wilfred English, preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Christopher Manes and her husband Paul Manes; sister, Helen Dunshie Johnsen; three grandchildren, Christina Christopher Hand, Virginia Christopher Wright and Clete Christopher; and four great-grandchildren, Christopher Van Wright, Gia Raquel Wright, Deva Alexandra Wright and Jordan Hand. Graveside service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Broussard's, 1605 Major Drive, Beaumont.
