SPICKA, Edward J. , at Veteran's Hospital, Martinez, February 22, 1966, of 646 Cornell Avenue, Albany; dearly beloved husband of Isabelle Inman Spicka; beloved father of Rita Ann Sorenson of Concord; loving brother of Helen Cerny, Mary Gottberg and Emil Spicka, all of Weston, Nebraska, Joseph and Frank Spicka of Wahoo, Nebraska; also survived by grandchildren. A native of Weston, Nebraska. A veteran of World War I and a member of Albany Post No. 292 American Legion. Friends are invited to attend a blessing Friday, February 25, at 11:30 a.m. from the Drawing Room Chapel of the Ellis-Olson Mortuary, 727 San Pablo Avenue, Albany. Recitation of the Rosary Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. followed by services conducted by Albany Post No. 292 American Legion. Committal services Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno. Published in the Oakland Tribune on February 24, 1966 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edward's first wife was Agnes H. Secor, married in 1919 in Nebraska; Rita was their daughter. He married Isabelle E. Terra on September 10, 1957, in Carson City, NV.
