ARCHER Julius B. Archer, age 55, resident of Silverhill, Ala., died Friday, Jan. 21 in New Orleans, La. A native of Coffee County, Mr. Archer was employed with Woodhaven Dairy of Robertsdale. Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 24 at St. Johns Episcopal Church in Robertsdale with Rev. John S. Marks officiating. Interment was in Silverhill Cemetery. Active pall bearers were Floyd Racine, Rollins Davis, W. M. Kennedy, C. E. Fortenberry, Jackie Taylor, and James I. Cooper. Honorary pall bearers were Leonard Haval, Emmett McKibbon, Downing Sweat, John Snook, D. A. Jones, and James Cross. Survivors are his wife Mrs. Catherine J. Archer of Silverhill; one daughter, Mrs. Lorraine Cooke, Pensacola, Fla.; one son, James B. Archer, Silverhill; three sisters, Mrs. C. B. White and Mrs. Jewell Childress, Robertsdale; and Mrs. Ruby L. Malone, Pensacola, Fla.; four brothers, Early Archer, Pensacola, Fla.; Garner Archer, Frostproff, Fla., Cecil Archer, Chicago, Ill., and Wiley Archer, Mobile; and one grandchild.
