Bio

Carmelita P. Sanders, 57, Route 2, died Wednesday at a Council Bluffs hospital following an extended illness. She was born at Sublette, MO, and had resided 25 years in Council Bluffs. Survivors include her husband, Lawrence H.; two sons, Raymond L. of Council Bluffs, and Randy, at home; daughter, Mrs. Karen Graves of Troy, TX; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Love of Council Bluffs; three brothers, Leroy Love of Des Moines, Raymond and Harold Love, both of Council Bluffs; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Meyer Chapel. The Rev. Charles W. Proud, pastor of Central Baptist Church, will officiate. Interment will be at the Silver City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Cancer Society.
