Bio

Boyd Sgt. Robert L. Boyd, 38, stationed with the U. S. Air Force at Warner Robbins AFB, Warner Robbins, Ga., died Tuesday, Dec. 12 at the base hospital following a brief illness. He was a native of Robertsdale and a member of the Methodist church. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Frances (Freeman) Boyd, Warner Robbins; two daughters, Misses Nancy and Janice Boyd. Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 15 at 2 p.m. from Robertsdale Methodist Church with Rev. A. E. Price and Rev. Fred Postma officiating. Burial was in Hail Memorial Cemetery, Mack Funeral Home, Robertsdale, directing. Active pallbearers were members of the Air Force. Honorary bearers were Bill Macon, Pop Hammond, Tom Hiles, Curtiss Reed, Artie Bankster, Durwood James and Preston Landson. Published December 21, 1967, The Baldwin Times, Bay Minette, Alabama
