Harriett Beck Wife of John A. Beck Born November 2, 1808 Died August 16, 1864 When Emmit Dolan Acklin and Bob Bounds were doing research in the Katy Cemetery in 1988, they found pieces of the tombstone for Harriett Beck scattered over a fairly large area. They collected the various pieces and reassembled the parts. The inscription does not show up in the photograph, but by close observation of the stone, it can be deciphered. The gravestone obviously was originally a well carved, large tablet-like rock marker. This picture was taken December 8, 2008.
