Bio
Avis Lucy Cooper, 83, a native of Chilton County, former resident of Loxley and resident of Montrose, died May 16, 1997. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rel Cooper and grandchild, Colin Wilson. Survivors include one daughter, Iris Wilson Lomax of Fairhope; one son and daughter-in-law, Jordan R. and Sue Cooper of Mobile; five grandchildren, Larry Wilson, Alan J. Cooper and Suzanne Cooper Kimbrell, all of Mobile, Ronnie Wilson and Kathy Wilson, both of Fairhope; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Services were held May 19 at Mack Funeral Home's Robertsdale chapel with the Rev. Stan Cruse Sr. officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery in Loxley.
