Vivian Noha Obituary Vivian C. Noha, 87, of Wahoo died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007, at South Haven Living Center in Wahoo. She was born July 12, 1920, in Weston to Joseph and Maria (Pospisil) Machacek. She grew up in rural Weston and attended a country school near there. She moved to Omaha for several months and was a waitress at Bohemian Café. She moved back to Saunders County and married John M. Noha on Feb. 17, 1947, in Weston. They made their home in Wahoo. Although she was mostly a homemaker, after the children grew up, she worked as a waitress in Wahoo and at Hellstar. She had lived at South Haven the last several years due to poor health. She was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church and the St. Ludmilla Guild. Survivors include: a son, John Noha of Lincoln; two daughters, Janice (and husband, Lynn E.) Ericson of Lincoln and Viv "Tudi" (and husband, Doug) Novotny of Colon; a brother, George Machacek of Lincoln; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and a sister. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Wahoo with the Rev. Charles Townsend officiating. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. today with a scriptural service and rosary at 6:30 p.m., all at Svoboda Funeral Home in Wahoo. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery.
