Joseph J. Siebert, 84, of Edgewater, a state building maintenance worker, died Dec. 27. He was born Feb. 25, 1917, in Wamego, Kan. Mass was said Jan. 3 at St. Mary Magdalene Church. Interment was in Fort Logan National Cemetery. On Oct. 29, 1955, he married Mary Henley in Denver. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 501. His interests included gardening and cooking. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Joe, Denver, and Chris, Wheat Ridge; two daughters, Victoria, Wheat Ridge, and Carol Smith, Westminster; four sisters; and two grandchildren. He worked in building maintenance for the state of Colorado. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 501.
