Bio

Son of Zachariah and Ione Hartley. In the 1900 census, Amos was boarding with the Ditto family. He married their daughter, Rose, in 1901, and they had five children. The 1910 census shows Amos committed to the Austin State Hospital, where he would remain until his death.
